Tea Info

History of black tea leaf cultivation in Iran dated back to over 100 years. First time, in 1900, it was brought to Iran from India by Mr. Kashef-al-saltaneh, which was later famed as Tea Father of Iran.

In 1958 (equivalent to 1338 Iranian Calendar) tea cultivation became state government monopoly.
